I just got the new firmware for my legacy Tablo and I’m using the new app for Roku.
Under Library, there is an option for “All” that shows all my recordings, plus empty placeholders for shows that will record in the future.
Maybe I’m overlooking the obvious, but is there anywhere to view only the list of recordings that are currently recorded? If I’m looking for something to watch, it’s kinda a pain to have to scroll through all the ones that show “0 recordings, 1+ future”
When you first go to your library the first thing it shows is the “Latest” that would be what you are looking for but maybe on Roku app is different, am using the ONN streaming device
That only seems to show a free things though (the last week?) not everything appears there.
Then it doesn’t exist on their newer app, but I understand you, the legacy app was simpler and better than this one.
Bingo. I love it when I go to News/Networks/Fox and discover that Friends and the Masked Singer are news shows. Or when you go to Sports/FeaturedSports/AllSports all you get is a linear list with no aggregation by category.
You can find that on your phone app not on roku.
So what you are saying is that to use the gen 4 roku app with my oled tv with upscaling I need to involve my phone. makes sense to me
The Android app on my phone works properly but, I’m seeing the same behaviour you are on my Roku and Fire TV apps. Apparently this is ‘normal’ for gen4 and is how it works even if you have a gen4 Tablo. Seems ridiculous to me and should be fixed!
