I just checked our credit card bill that our latest guide subscription fee was taken out of. On it was an extra $1.49 labeled as a Foreign Transfer Fee. Is this because Tablo is a Canadian company? Seems funny a Canadian company doesn’t even support their latest product in Canada.
I get this too. I think it’s a fee assessed by the credit card company and not by Tablo. I’m sure it varies by company.
Yep, this is YOUR bank not Tablo. My bank does not charge me for a Canadian transaction even though I have a USA credit card. Other banks handle things differently.
Funny y’all mention this. My bank started charging the international fee of $0.05 each month at the beginning of this year. I just got notified by my bank that this was in error and I would get a deposit of the total of all those fees paid on the Tablo changes back in my account.
The question wasn’t the bank or who was initiating the charge.
Their newest product is not available for use in Canada. They appear to still be hardhearted in Canada, with a product not available for their own country - anymore.
