Legacy Tablo: cannot tune channel 45-4 in Houston Area

Not long ago they started transmitting Movie Sphere Gold from Houston on channel 45-4. The signal is pretty strong in my area, I never noticed any indications of weak signal, my Samsung TV shows it nice. However, my Legacy Tablo (Tablo device 2.2.42) cannot tune to it at all. I tried to experiment with different zip codes, even found exact zip code of Rosenberg from where it is transmitted, nothing helps. Is there a way to add a channel manually? Or maybe they introduced some newest format that Tablo does not recognize? I have a nice antenna on the roof directed to the city, both my TV and Tablo see about 100 channels, 45-4 is the only one that Table does not see. Can someone help me with this?

If the channel scan doesn’t detect I would have support log on and tell you why. The legacy requires that various PSIP fields be properly filled in.

DO you mean I need to open a support ticket? I did not find any logging option on Tablo’s Settings page.

You want an answer.

I assume this page also works for legacy. And I’m sure they will have you put the unit in maintenance mode.

I live in Seabrook (a bit SE of Houston), so I just checked that channel for my tuners.. One TV (not even thru the Tablo) didn’t recognize that channel at all, and the other TV (same OTA antenna) reads that channel as a strong signal, but also shows it as “Audio Only”…
Not sure what all of that means to you, if anything, but it’s a “no-go” where I live… :-/

It’s not listed as an MPEG-4 channel which legacy doesn’t support.
