While watching (not recording) a local live tv channel with a strong antenna signal, I am constantly getting the screen error messages “Recording Unavailable” with the words “The selected recording has already been deleted.”
This makes no sense since I am watching (not recording) a live tv channel and am not trying to watch a previously recorded show.
This happens frequently. Anybody else having this experience? And does anybody know how to fix this issue? I have a white 2 tuner tablo and just this morning installed the latest firmware update and this error is still happening.
What streaming device are you using?
hello, I have a the two tuner tablo model TF128B-01-CN. I have it connected to a fire tv via wi-fi.
Sounds like a glitch in either the Tablo or the Firestick. If all else fails, do a factory reset on the Tablo and if that doesn’t work, do a factory reset on the Firestick. These items are just cheap tiny computers and the code can get corrupted on occasion.
How old is the Fire Tv? Smart TVs have a habit of not upgrading after a couple of years and apps tend to start failing.
If that is true, I would suggest getting a set top box.

Hi @simbaleon,
It may be worth a shot to try updating your guide. If that doesn’t worky, try clearing your app cache.
I have a 2 year old Insignia 55" Fire Tv.
My Tablo TV is also 2 years old. Both are up to date on firmware and software.
I regularly update the Tablo tv guide and frequently clear the Tablo app cache. The problem still persists.
Doing a factory reset on the Tablo is something I will try when all other suggested fixes fail. I will keep that in mind. Thanks.
I believe the guide updates itself daily.
Running a channel scan and saving it (even if you don’t make any changes), might help.
If it doesn’t, reach out to Tablo Support.
