It’s Not Easy Being Me!

After I installed the Tablo antenna on an upstairs window it worked fine until it got windy. During heavy winds the TV would breakup or freeze up due to nearby trees. I had no choice but to re-install the antenna in the attic.

During the process of installing the antenna in the attic and running the cable to the Tablo below my body weight caved in a ceiling drywall. I didn’t fall through but did a bit of damage. Fortunately the ceiling affected was inside a closet. The repairs were straightforward, frame the inside closet ceiling with 2x2s and screw the new drywall to the 2x2s.

It’s not easy being me.

It’s been months since I moved the antenna to the attic, above the tree line. Now Tablo works reliably even during strong winds,

You’re to be commended for having a pretty cool attitude about it all. You deserve good reception.

Falling thru the attic floor is one of my worst nightmares.
I swear I’ll never go in the attic again… every time I go in the attic.

Reminded me of Ken Hendricks. EZ to google.

Wisconsin billionaire who died a few days before Christmas after he for some reason went up into the space above his garage, then was fatally injured after crashing through the floor.

Whatever it was he was looking for, I don’t think it was worth it. 66 years, 7 children, $3 billion. :frowning:
