This morning I did a rescan so it would find Comet. That part worked. But now I have a bunch of channels that I do NOT want, and it’s impossible to remove them. I’ve unchecked those boxes over and over, and they still come back checked. So now my guide is polluted with a bunch of unwanted channels I can’t get rid of.
I’ve tried it on the Tablo app on both my Google TV streaming box and my Android phone. Same results.

Update: I rebooted the DVR, but no luck on the first attempt afterwards. However, on the 2nd attempt after the reboot, I was able to get my Guide down from 51 channels to 23, so I don’t dare try it again, or they may come back.
My advice is to make the updates to your guide and allow an overnight processing to complete before you expect to see the desired results. I think the Tablo is doing more than we think/know in the background, and it needs time to complete.
Understood. But how do you explain a bunch of random channels, that I have zero interest in and have never tuned to, suddenly appearing in my Guide, and despite repeated attempts to delete them, they keep reappearing? Your explanation ignores the facts. If you think Tablo’s manifold software glitches will miraculously disappear overnight, then you’ve got a lot more time on your hands to waste than I do.
I can’t explain what you’re seeing or experiencing. I can only try to make sense of it. What you do with the information is up to you.
