I’ve never previously noticed 3 icons in the upper right hand corner of the video playback of a show. The middle is obvious CC for closed caption, the third I recognize as the Cast icon, but for the life of me, I can’t figure out the first icon that looks like 3 boxes with a loop overhead (connecting box 1 & 3?). It turns blue if I touch it, but I can’t see that it does anything. I’ve searched the blog, but must not have the right terms to find anything.I suspect I will have a SMH reaction when someone clears this up for me, but thank you all the same.
It is the com skip icon.
What playback device are you using?
Not every device/app looks the same, or has the same features…
not everyone is using the same app/device as you
Does it resemble the logo for commercial skip
That must be it. I’m using a Galaxy Tab 10 inch.
Thanks!

It’s not as detailed as that one, but that must be what it is.
Thanks for helping solve my mystery.
As others have reported, it’s the on/off toggle for Automatic Commercial Skip.
Yep. That’s it. Once you know it’s commercial skip, it’s easier to see the logic of the icon design. Thanks.
