It’s nice having all the new guide variations.
I want a very simple one - just give me the channels in numerical order (the way they used to be).

I agree, I like the simple guide, and there is a way to get that back.
On the left hand side of your menu go to live button, click on that, once the guide has loaded, look up in the upper left hand corner of the guide you should see a block that says “Guide Options”. move to this tile and click on it. another screen will come up and it will say Guide view, scroll down and highlight channel view and click on that, this should get to back to the channel guide you prefer. You will get a few fast channels listed about 6 of them but all the local channels now should be in channel number order.

Yep, it’s a PITA to now get to FAVORITES. 4-5 extra key strokes. I have my FAVORITES and it always came up until this latest change. Not happy…
Make sure you have the latest version of the firmware and app.

I’m seeing the same issue others are reporting, but only on the Roku app. Not seeing channels out of order on iOS.
What’s odd is that it only seems to happen when in Channels View/Favorite Channels selected. Favorites seem to list in a completely random order, but when I revert to Channel View/All Channels, they list in sequential order.
I have latest firmware installed, latest Roku app update, latest Roku system software as well. Seems like some additional work may be needed for this version to work as well as iOS version.

Also, while you’re on the Guide Options you can go straight to particular days! That’s something I’ve wanted a way to do and now I found it.
I saw that post earlier, but it doesn’t address the issue when viewing Favorite channels. All Channels displays correctly, but for some reason, Favorite Channels lists channels out of order. While looking on the Tablo site, I did see that the latest firmware version is 2.2.56 and that it is being phased in. My Tablo just updated to 2.2.54 in the last week, and that is the latest version available for me at this time. Hoping the newer version corrects the issue with Favorite Channels in that or future updates.
The Tablo folks have admitted that is an issue.

Please refer to the “solution” above. It’s a new feature that is user controlled via menu options.
Firmware version is not the same as the app version.

When I try the fix on my Roku it takes me back to the Roku Home screen only. I still have to go left and down one to enter LIVE. Next I have to go left 3 times and down one to FAVORITES and press enter to have my FAVORITES. My FAVORITES are the way they were before but I now need to do this same procedure every time I go into Tablo’s app on Roku. Workable but still a PITA to have to make 7 moves to get to my FAVORITES. Before it was 4 moves.
Is this related to how certain FAST channels are “featured” and end up on the top? Holiday Baking Challenge at the very top of my list.
