How do I mark a topic as read?

Once in a while a thread pops up like the Tablo Ripper thread for example. It has over a thousand replies. I’m trying to figure out how to just mark a topic read so it will stop notifying me I have unread topics.
Or is there another way to do that? Not real familiar with Discourse boards.

You can ‘mute’ a topic:

I was kinda hoping I could mark it read so then I’d only see new posts instead of having to read 1200 of them :smiley:
