None of the channel 19’s will come in. They all say the signal is too weak. This is the main channel I want to record.
You can try an antenna amplifier, the best thing to do is get a good antenna and mount it at least 30 ft or higher the better, mine is in my attic an I have a two story house. Get some idea from Tyler the antenna man https://www.youtube.com/@AntennaMan
Have you checked out the differences with the Tablo’s built-in amplifier on versus off?
I had a similar issue. When the antenna was connected directly to my LG TV, I had no issue with signal, but going through the 4th gen Tablo made it impossible to receive a high VHS channel (PBS). The built-in amplifier did nothing.
In the end, I ended up getting the ChannelMaster Pro UHF/VHF antenna, along with UHF and VHF extensions for it. I also got a ChannelMaster Pre-Amp. This has provided a permanent resolution, but did set me back ~$350.
As noted - you need a good antenna and setup as a foundation. Aside from an antenna, no device can “boost” a signal that isn’t there. It might help with a weak signal over a longer cable run, if it’s otherwise adequate. But a crappy signal is a crappy signal.
