Whenever I check for the new firmware it tells me, I am up to date..
I called Customer Support and they said I have to wait.. They even said it could take months..
Is there anyway it can be forced?

If it’s not broke don’t fix it. That’s what I’ve always been told. I have both the legacy and new and to me the legacy beats the new one hands down. You can watch tv even if the internet goes out during a tornado with new one you have to wait to go into off line mode you can stream outside the house and do manual recording when when the program guide is wrong. Which I have been waiting for more than one channel to be up dated. One channel has no programming guide at all so I have do manual recording on that channel.

No, there is no way to force the update. I seriously doubt it will take months, but it could take a few weeks.
And you probably won’t notice any difference, anyway.

I just checked 3 times today and still nada.
I thought maybe forcing a check a few times in a row would tell the back end “Seems he wants it, let’s release it to this device”. But nope. No biggie, I can wait. There isn’t much I DVR these days anyway.
My Tablo still doesn’t have the new firmware :(.
