I am trying to setup my Tablo quad through roku to a Samsung TV to use auto commercial skip. I’m confused about connections to my Denon AVR 1500. The HDMI 2 has arc but HDMI 1 does not. How do I connect the cables to send Tablo and Rocu to get sound through my Denon receiver? Thanks

Do not use ARC. Connect all your devices to the AVR via HDMI.

Roku -> AVR via HDMI -> HDTV via HDMI

theuser86 is correct, you don’t need ARC for the Roku audio. Just connect the Roku to HDMI 1 and you are good to go.
