HIgh data usage from your ISP provider


I spent untold hours trying to find out why I was getting daily notices from my ISP about high data usage. Tablo said it could not be their box. The problem is in the Tablo Settings. Go to settings/subscription and UNCHECK the Tablo Cloud option. I don’t know how it got checked but it will cause you to exceed your data cap very quickly.

That’s a major setting. If that had been checked, it means you have been using the Cloud DVR this whole time for recordings and not your hard drive.

It will use up a decent amount of data if you do a lot of Tablo watching/recording.
