Hard Drive Full error

Every other day or so, while watching an OTA channel, the program freezes. When I back out and try to go back to the channel, there is a message saying “Hard drive full” or “Full hard drive” (don’t recall which”,and I can’t watch that channel. I can however watch any other channel without issue.

When I called support, they verified that my HD was empty, as I never have, and never will, record a program. They couldn’t figure out the reason for the issue. They told me that the way to watch that channel again I’d to re-boot the unit and then re-scan channels. That works, but it is a real PITA when watching a football game. Like I said, this happens every two to three days. Support says there is nothing else they can do and they have never seen this issue before. I think they should replace the unit, but they refuse.

Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Rosey

I get several totally unrelated error messages (including this one) when I’m having reception issues. I don’t necessarily think its a faulty unit - just a poorly reported reception/network issue.

Thanks for the reply. I would think that except for the fact that when I get the error and the channel freezes, I can’t watch that channel but I can watch all the other OTA channels. Then once I reboot, I can watch that channel again. They say they have never heard of this problem before.

Hi Rosey,

Our 4th Generation firmware 2.2.56 update should fix this.

If you haven’t already, try running the update.

2.2.56 has already been installed and I verified this on the app. Any other suggestions?

Hmm, that should have fixed the issue.

Would you reach out to Tablo Support?

If you do, DM us your email/ticket number, and we’ll flag this with them.
