This is what I did to try to fix it so far.
Rebooted my router
Rebooted the tableau
Reinstalled the app on my phone
Tried both a reset and a factory reset going through the same instructions that I’m showing here.
Removed and reinstalled the tableau app
Removed and reinstalled on my TV after rebooting my Chromecast and my LG TV.
Went through the normal setup. Everything went well until after the channel scan was saved. The channel upload only goes to 26% and I’ve done this whole sequence over and over so I wouldn’t do the same thing I’m doing. I’m waiting to see if tableau support comes up with a solution.
Well this may be too simple, but I always found the guide updates to go better, the fewer the number of stations I have checked
I keep it to the minimum I know I may need, abt 15
Recently when they added those 40+ channels, I had slow channel and guide updates again, as I did in my early days of usage, before I had learned to keep the list short
IMO it is a bit silly to furnish more channels, if the system (as far as I can tell) cannot keep up with the maintanance
