Guide time off by one hour

I installed my new Tablo (the white color cover, I understand there is an older black version). I’ve seen lots of entries here concerning my problem but they’ve only confused me more.

The times shown across the top of the guide are off by one hour. Example: the weekday CBS Evening News is televised locally at 5:30 PM. The guide shows it at 6:30 PM. The program DOES record correctly, it’s just that the times shown across the top of the guide are incorrect. I’ve rescanned channels, changed the location setting from my city to my zip code and back a few times, and rebooted several times but the guide times remain off by one hour. I’ll add that I’m in Arizona where Daylight Saving Time is not used so could that come into play here?

Tablo support asked me to navigate: Settings > Edit location > Use Current > Begin Channel Scan > Add to guide. I don’t see a ‘Settings’ although I assume that the small gear on upper-right of first Tablo screen is the Settings icon. When I click that icon it takes me to a screen which has no selection even close to “Edit Location”.

Has anyone else had this experience? Any help appreciated.

Not knowing what device you’re using to watch your Tablo on, it could be possible that you have the wrong time zone set for your TV (or Roku, Android/Google device).

One of my TVs always picks the wrong time zone for “automatic” and I have to go in manually and change this.

Thank you! You pointed me in the right direction. I’m using Amazon Fire Stick and the time on that device was off an hour. I corrected that and now Tablo guide is correct. Thanks again.

I just starting having the same problem. My 2ch 4th gen Tablo is connected to a Roku Ultra.
The Roku switched to Mountain time instead of Pacific time. What I had to do to fix it was go into the Roku settings and set the TZ manually to Pacific time instead of letting the TZ be set automatically.
