I have a 4th-gen 4-tuner Tablo, and it works well, mostly. The guide can be strange though. I’m using the AppleTV app, and when I go to the guide, it loads and shows program information for 24-ish hours ahead (tomorrow, basically), instead of the current time.
I can go down to a channel, then over to the first entry in the guide, and then go backward one block at a time to get to the current time, but that’s a pain.
i have this exact same problem using Apple TV. I too am waiting to hear a quicker way to resolve this problem. I usually close out the app and restart it again and that works but this problem happens at least twice a week for me.
On my Roku, the FF/RW buttons (not that navigation buttons) will jump 24 hours (maybe 12) in the guide. Also, if you go into the place in the guide where you select to display Favorites or All, on Roku you can jump to specific dates. If AppleTV has a similar feature, it might be helpful.
Apple TV and same issue. I noticed if I do not “close” the app, just press the back button on the Apple TV remote this occurs. If I force shut down the app then it loads at the correct date & time.
Same here. Got rid of the Rokus because tablo ( and Homerun ) didnt work on them and got Apple TVs. Worked great for a couple of months, now the guide always comes on at tomorrow sometime.
What a waste of money to watch ota tv. Two thumbs down.
When it does this, I have found that if you move from the channel name over to the first column of program names, you can hit the back button and it will jump to the correct time. This is a workaround, not a fix, but it saves a little frustration.
