Harder to fault a hard-wired connection (I just want to use “hard” twice in a sentence).
Seriously though, in most cases WiFi can be variable with regards to speed and reliability. If you can “wire it”… do so.
(I did not read ars techinca article).
This should help fix buffering issues that many have.
