My Tablo upgraded to 2.2.52 this morning (10/8). My library picked up conflicts & failed recordings which clued me to the update.
The only recordings showing in my library are those recorded this morning, everything else is missing. There seems to be a problem with this update. I have just over 3TB of recordings on this hard drive.
Before anyone jumps on Roku’s back, I’ve been running under OS14 for the last 2-weeks.
It looks like you just got the new Roku (0.8.800) update as that one has our new layout in the library. When you say everything else is missing, can you elaborate? If you scroll down on the Latest screen, is there no other dates showing? And if you go down to “All”, are you previously recorded shows not there?
The only items showing under all, tv shows, and movies are items recorded today (10/8). The items just recorded do show the format of the latest update.
My older recordings only show in the Android app. I have restarted the Roku even though everything points Tablo app on the Roku Ultra.
When you’ve got a little time between recordings, press the small button on the bottom of the puck one time making sure you do not hold it down very long.
We’ve actually just identified an issue here. It looks like a bug with shows being displayed if they were already watched. While we investigate, as a workaround for now, use your Android app to access an airing of a show that’s not appearing on Roku, and begin watching it. Then feel free to back out. This should reset its progress to the beginning and should now appear in the Roku Library.
We apologize for the issue, though for now it seems to only affect already watched recordings.
Just tried your suggestion on an episode of Blue Bloods. Not only did the show appear under tv shows, but all episodes were recovered.
That said, I have close 50 series and shows under just this heading. Under movies, I have 198 recorded (I counted). There is no way I’m doing this 200+ times.
This is really a problem. When there are multiple people in a home, often one person watches a show before the other person gets a chance and then you can’t even see the recordings on the Roku devices. Considering how many people use Roku, resolving this needs to be high priority.
I concur. This is a MAJOR PROBLEM. I think that the folks @TabloSupport should be giving us status updates, rather than having this rather large group of users trying to use a product that is essentially “bricked”.
