Update 10am - Crystal Ticket #556035
“Reboot, rescan and save”. This is incorrect solution.

The problem is not with OTA channels or signal strength. FAST channels are present without program information.

Changed zip code, rescanned and saved. Can access Live Guide but still no program information.

Update 4pm No change

Update 5pm Crystal “The reason the data is missing is because you haven’t Selected those channels. Repeat the process.” This is incorrect.

Update 5am May 15 Programming restored for all but 4 channels on the Android mobile app. LGTV app is resolved.

Update 9am There are no missing guide data after multiple recans and saves.

Update 10am Recanned and saved resulting in eight FAST channels missing program information.

Update 1140am Rescan and save with zero missing guide information.

Update 120pm Rescan and save resulting in eight FAST channels missing program information on the Android mobile app. None are missing on the LGTV app.

Update 210pm There is no missing guide data.

I am getting the same problem with Declassified and History Warfare Now.
Plus the OTA channels have just one week of programming. It has been disappearing one day every day or two, so I should loose all programming in a week and a half or so.
I have tried all the things: reboot, rescan, update guide, etc. Nothing seems to help.

Is 556035 a ticket number?

The “programming not available” message in the guide has come back. Right now it is only on some of the FAST channels (there was a previous topic about this) but starting on May 20 ABC network shows the message. Then if I look farther in to the future more and more channels show the message until after a few days all channels show the message.

I have a 4gen 2ch Tablo FW 2.2.56 with a Roku Ultra 4802X OS 15.2.4 App 1.3.4. All connections are Ethernet.

This “programming not available” problem was just solved in January and now only 4 months later it has already come back.

Same issue here. Legacy Tablo updated to firmware 2.2.60. First time I noticed it was Wednesday evening. This sounds like a system wide issue.

Glad to see I’m not the only one. I have a legacy 4-tuner tablo, and I only use the legacy Tablo app on my Roku TV. Therefore the problem is not just FAST channels because there are no FAST channels on the legacy app.

This problem first appeared during beta testing of the firmware and did not get fixed in time for football season so I left the beta program and reverted my firmware back to the stable live version at the time. I updated to 2.2.60 on May 4th and crossed my fingers. If I could have stayed on the rock-solid 2.2.42 version, I would have.

In my case, I save off 7 channels (out of 90 available), and 3 of them have no programming available after May 20th 3:00pm. The other 4 go out for a few more days and then have no programming. None of the channels are getting the full 14-day guide.

I have been back and forth with tablo support for the last 2 days and today after support suggested I disconnect my hard drive and run a channel scan, which did not fix the problem, I did a factory reset. My guide data is still reduced, but different channels go out for different days than what was happening before the factory reset.

I’ll be back in touch with support tomorrow after the nightly maintenance run.

Yeah something is wrong. I have the same emptying guide data. This is all OTA with my Legacy Tablo using Legacy apps. So I set it to update the guide but instead of it counting percent complete it said “1 min ago” after about 3 minutes then “2 mins ago” after about 5 minutes then “3 mins ago” after about 7 minutes and on and on. Now after about 30 minutes it says “updated 18 minutes ago” and it’s still counting.

Seeing the same thing on Roku tonight as well.

Hi folks - We’re investigating this. Stay tuned.

UPDATE - May 15 4:45 pm ET - We’ve identified the issue with guide data ingest and it has been resolved. It may take 24-48 hours for all channels to be fully updated.

great news!

Will a channel scan in the legacy Tablo app on a Roku TV be enough or do I have to use a smartphone app (legacy or 4th gen) channel scan? What is the recommendation?
