During a show it will “Buffer” and say it isnt connected. If i look at the router it is connected (Very Strong since it sits next to the router) …it is out in the open on a tabletop. Using Apple TV with the latest app. I had one that worked great and never had any issues that just quit working and so it was replaced. Have had nothing but issues since. Bought a third one and still can’t get through a live or recorded show with out the issues. Worked with Tablo, disconnected, uninstalled, reinstalled reset routers etc…etc…
4 tuner 4th gen unit…
Is your Tablo connected to your router via WiFi or Ethernet? If it is WiFi, how close are the Tablo and the Router?
appreciate the question -via wifi…they are 6 ft apart…keep in mind the previous one with the exact same set up and placement had no issues till it died (internal power supply I suppose). I have an ASUS mesh network and it is placed near and linked specifically to the Home base router node. The router is 1 ft from the Fiberoptic Internet access point and tied by cat6 to it. When the Tablo shows disconnected/buffering, no other wifi item in the house loses connectivity, and again…the other one worked great…
If possible, try connecting your Tablo to your router via Ethernet. Yes, it should work just fine via WiFi, but most find that it is more stable hard wired. Let us know if it helps.
