Free Streaming Channels from AMC No Longer Recordable

Hi folks -

Starting at the end of February, Tablo users will no longer be able to record free streaming channels from our content partner AMC. The channels will remain available for live viewing on the Tablo platform.

The affected channels include:

  • All Reality
  • All Weddings
  • Allblk Gems
  • AMC en Espanol
  • AMC Thrillers
  • ANIME x HIDIVE
  • IFC Film Picks
  • MSG Sports Zone
  • Portlandia
  • Slightly Off IFC
  • Stories by AMC
  • Overtime
  • The Waking Dead Universe

All recordings from these channels completed before this change will stay in your Library.

We remain committed to bringing our users top-tier programming from partners like AMC, and to seeking restriction-free agreements with content partners where possible.

That’s a shame. I don’t record a lot from the FAST channels, but I have found some good movies on AMC Thrillers and IFC that I have saved to watch later.

Ahhhhhh… Bruhhhhh… I record AMC Thriller, Both IFC’s, Hidive… like all the time…

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. I’m playin, I do record those channels tho, I hope something else better is coming down the line.

I wasnt mad about this issue at all. Its unfortunate. I have Tablo and Philo. At the same time. It all washes out at the end.

Look to see what Philo offers in the way of AMC streaming channels. Yeah it is another subscription…

I have Philo with my Tablo. My wife needs TLC.
