I’m in the Phoenix area. EVERY day around 3-5pm, I cannot get into the Tablo app. It sits on the ‘connecting to your Tablo’. Sometimes I get an error. During the day it seems ok. Are your servers so overwhelmed you can’t even let someone use this pos? You’ve promised and promised to allow access to recorded shows when your servers aren’t working. It’s time to get it together.
Same problem here in the Denver area…if Tablo does finally start working, the live guide is blank. Just happened today at 6 PM mountain time, 20 minutes ago and my wife has been telling me this is happening also last week, finally saw it for myself. Tablo are you listening to your customers? We were promised offline viewing when Tablo is having server problems 5 months ago, are we waiting for the next superbowl to get media involved again when the servers fail…
I live in the Pacific TZ and am having the same problem. From about 4-6 PM at the beginning of the hour for about 10-15 minutes either: I cannot connect to the Tablo; or I get a blank live guide. If I get a blank guide and go to Settings > Guide the channels field is blank (it should have the number of channels selected for the guide).
Offline Mode is currently in beta testing. We’ll share more details when it’s fully available.
Cool, thanks for the update. Is the “offline mode” expected to solve these Guide and connection issues? My understanding is that it’s supposed to make it possible to watch the device (live and recordings) when Internet isn’t available. But how might it affect other issues like this?
If a server outage would lead to hanging on ‘connecting to your Tablo’, offline mode should kick in and allow you to continue to watch live and recorded shows.
