Today was the first time in 3 years of ownership I had to reset my 4th gen Tablo. We were watching some recordings when suddenly it stopped responding and ultimately said it appears your Tablo is offline and that I should reset it by quickly tapping the reset button. Did that and we’re back in business. There were occasional power cycles over the same time period but not because of Tablo problems. Hopefully it will run fine for another 3 years.
You might consider plugging your Tablo into a computer UPS unit.
It is plugged into a UPS. Always has been since the beginning. Well except for the 2 days when I had to replace the battery.
All my Tablo equipment, router, modem and more are plugged into several UPS’s. I swear by them.

Mr too… every Mac, TV, TiVo, and Tablo is running on a UPS and they saved my a$$ numerous times.
