I am trying to watch Tablo TV Stick. When I try to watch a show, it says Install Blocked. Settings displays, but when I click on it, it does nothing. Please help.
EDIT: The “support monkey” at Amazon wasn’t any help, but I found the solution and happy to say I am now watching a recording. The solution was to go to settings, system, developer options, unknown sources. After Tablo installed the video player, I turned unknown sources back off.
I believe you need to go in to Fire Stick settings and turn on installation from unknown sources under the developer function.
You shouldn’t turn that off, leave it on. When Tablo pushes the update for the Video Player you won’t get it if it’s off.
I played a slot game on the fire TV Stick, then later tried Tablo and it would not show anything. It gave the weak station error, but I was able to watch on other devices. So I unplugged the fire TV Stick, and plugged it back in. Problem solved.
