To get rid of those channels, just remove them from your channel list. But unless you remove all FAST channels, you are likely to always get some up there. It is a price to pay for the free guide.
I would like the ability to choose the chans to show at the top.

why dont you use favorites

I have too many favorites, mine and and the boss’. I would choose a couple of super preferred chans to go on top. Call them the favorite favorites that happen to be the most watched of the favorites.

Sounds like what you want is a sort function similar to YouTube TV’s custom guide. And that would be a cool feature.
