I just got Tablo just a little over a month ago.

I got a dual tuner gen 4 and love it

I just received a quad tuner gen 4. I was going to give my dual tuner model to a not tech savvy older friend.

While I was setting up the Quad tuner with the record info from the dual I stumbled on a issue, If Change a Favorite channel on either Tablo it changes for both Tablos on my account.

I was going to just have both on my account. When Install my Dual tuner gen4 at his house will the Favorites still do the same or will the change in routers make the Favorites different.

I’m sure the Tablo from both locations would show in account on the settings in the app of the streaming device. just un reachable

Favorites are linked to your account.

We’d recommend helping your friend set up a new account. They shouldn’t need to interact much with it after setup.
