Quad tuner. Zip code 86409. Channel 3.3 (Grit) gives me an error (attached), this is from the IOS beta app. Does the same on the tvOS beta app. Did this prior to the beta also. I haven’t brought it up before because it works perfectly on my Legacy Quad Tuner. Same antenna for both.
Ideas? Need more info?
So this is occurring on a Tablo 4G?
Yes, 4G. I forgot to mention that.
If its just that one subchannel and everything else is OK, then I suspect a reception issue (despite what it says). The tuners on the 4G and Legacy are probably sufficiently different that one will work while the other may not. Have you tried orienting the antenna directly towards the channel 3.3 transmitter?
What is the station call sign? I can’t find Grit on channel 3 anywhere in AZ or NV.
Wow, that market is saturated with broadcast waves. There also appears to be no good field signal strength in that ZIP Code. Only fair, poor, and mostly bad.
They’re all repeaters. I suspect that they have mountains.
My mistake. The channel is actually Outlaw. It is on K23FV-D, a retransmitter of KTVK from Phoenix.
Well it’s on a mountain. It’s very low powered. I’m unsure which direction it is from your location. Or what type of antenna you have.
But I suspect that you have to re-aim the antenna. Perhaps elevate it a degree or two.
That’s my guess.
Rabbitears.info says Fair signal. There are two locations on these mountains, but only .2 degrees difference. They are 22 miles away, and my Televes antenna usually does pretty well. Using the AntennaGuys meter, I get 71%. I have attached photos of the mountains and the meter screen.
See my response to another. Here are some other items.
It’s the left/right on the report and what you described to get to the compass point.
I’m suggesting you tilt up the side of the antenna pointed at the transmitter a degree or two.

Z to tilt
I found the coverage map you posted. We are within the 71-80 range. I will try re-aiming with my meter.
