Switched to a different 5g provider, which required a change in my SSID. I remember switching a long time ago and having some real issues with Tablo (Legacy). I’ve read all the instructions I could find. When I try to change wifi networks, it finds it ok, says it’s connecting, establishing a data path and then gives me an ‘unexpected error’.
What am I doing wrong?
I also tried connecting via ethernet as instructed and the app just spins.
So is there any way to reset this dang thing back to factory settings, like it’s a new install? Maybe that would work.
Hold the small reset button for 10 seconds and it should reset the unit after a few minutes.
Won’t you lose all of your recordings if it’s reset?
Yes, absolutely, even if you have an external drive.
Ok, so I was going to do the full reset (thanks for that info) and then out of the blue, they connected to my new network. I had run thru the procedures for both units, neither seemed to complete, but evidently after SOME time, it worked. All set, thanks for the input guys!
