Connecting Tablo wirelessly to router

If I disconnect my Tablo from my router by removing Ethernet cable and then reconnect Tablo wirelessly to router will that affect my recordings on my hard drive?

I have never done this but I don’t think it should be a problem. The directory and files reside on the HD. You will most likely have to go thru the wireless setup procedure on the Tablo website and you will want to reserve the ip address on your router. Mine has only ran wireless because I do not have an antenna feed where my router resides. Good Luck

Nope not at all. But you make get buffering issues with playback due to slow WiFi speeds.

Depends on recording quality and 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz WiFi. I was using 1080 without problems, but changed to 720 recommended since most of what I record is 720 or less. I do watch basketball live on the TV with the antenna connected to the TV.
