Trying to understand the layers of Channel Scan on Legacy Tablo. The following example is taken using the iphone app.
Screenshot 1: Scanning in progress. At this point, you see the “raw” channel names. For example at this stage, channel 10-1 is “KSAZ-TV”, but in the end, the service will overlay this with major network names. In the case of this example, KSAZ-TV will become “FOX”
Screenshot 2: Scan is complete and after a brief moment, a service “converts” major networks names before your eyes to network designations, which is what you see in this screenshot. In this example, I currently have 27 channels, but will select a 28th “TOONS” (40-4) by clicking “Save & Continue”

Screenshot 4: 40-4 is now saved but has now undergone another “conversion” to “Oxygen” (which now makes it incorrect).
So, originally I thought there was only the original conversion of designations right after scan and before hitting “save and continue”, but I’m seeing that another conversion seems to happen “during” (?) the Save & Continue process.
Am I properly understanding this?
