On the channel guide as you scroll thru channels the top row provides information for the current channel. It would be nice if the content of this row be larger. For visually challenged it allows seeing info about the current channel that is highlighted.

Much of the text could stand to be a little larger. In many places the text is unreasonably small, but your idea of a highlighted/top channel enlarged is a neat idea.
