In the Chicago market, on Oct. 1st channels 62.2 and 62.3 changed from QVC to become the new regional sports network CHSN (Chicago Sports Network). The icons for these channels still haven’t updated in the Tablo live guide. For what it’s worth, neither have the ones on my LG TV (my antenna is connected both directly to the TV and also to the Tablo 4th-gen). However, the channel icons in the Tablo live guide don’t match the ones coming in over the antenna, so they seem like they come from some other source.
Is this true? If so, when can we expect the channel icons to update?
I had metv on 10.2. When metv removed their channel from most non-owned stations the local station moved bounce up from 10.5 to 10.2. But t metv remained the icon.
But what seemed to clear it up on some of the legacy units was - my guess:
I have spare legacy units I turn off during the summer.
thus the 14 day guide data becomes totally expired.
when I turn the units back on in the fall the tablo firmware has to totally delete the obsolete guide and add a complete new 14 day guide
that unit is correct - the others have the same old metv icon.
Have you tried to rescan and uncheck every channel and sub-channel that belongs to that RF and save. Reboot the tablo, rescan, and adding the channels back in and save. I didn’t because the primary channel had a lot of scheduled recordings and I was too lazy to re-add all of them.
I have the same issue in Chicago suburbs with 62.2 and 62.3. Did full reset of the Tablo as well as re-scan and guide updates. iPhone, Roku, AppleTV all show the old channel icons, not the Chicago Sports Network icons.
