Must have been just updated. According to Firefox it’s valid from midnight GMT today (5/11) to August 9.

I also noticed that the format seems to have changed a bit.

As someone in IT, it sorta amazes me that this happens as often as it does. Per corporate policy we have to cycle the non-wildcard SSL cert for my primary customer annually. It’s a simple annual reminder on my calendar to make sure the new SSL cert is put in place a couple of weeks prior to the end date of the current cert.

I am a regular on dslreports.com, and it happens often there, too. In that case, it seems to be just running on autopilot, with little admin oversight. It can often be expired for several days.

Doesn’t speak well of long term viability when they can’t even get something simple done. Bad management.

Long term viability isn’t an issue. They have had a DVR in the market for 10 years now.

But tablo no longer sells the legacy tablo where the unit and the apps both work.

My 4th Gen works just fine.

When was the last time you scheduled a manual recording on a gen 4.

Have you tried to take a new model android tablet running android 13 and try to edit the WiFi SSID.

If you are using a roku and have recently run a channel scan and want to add some of the subchannels and just select and save that modification is the change reflected in the Live grid? Or do you have to rescan and then do a save to have the changes show up.

Does the unit detect a failed FAST channel recording and auto-reschedule without any notification - leaving the failed recording behind. That fills up the internal storage very quickly.

In 2024 DVR software should be able to be put low user intervention. If I have multiple late night talk shows I want to record only new episodes should I be able to go to one location and review my “recent” recordings(latest on gen 4). On legacy I get a list of every episode for the last 10-12 days. On gen 4 I get a list of shows. That’s rather useless. I can go to all recordings and peck my way through that list.

Need more?

Tablo was sold to EW Scripps in 2022. It’s not the same company that it used to be.

Correct. The Tablo name was sold. The new product can’t even be sold in Canada (the roots of the old company). I hate this with acquisitions where the “new owner” tries to use the “years” of the acquired. Especially in this case, where the new product is nothing like the old.
