Again - just a plug for a feature request here.
A dumb scheduled record (“Record Channel 26.2 every day from 5:30 to 6”) is literally something that existed in VCRs in the 80s, shouldn’t be too hard to code up, and would eliminate any problem of requiring 3rd parties you don’t control to “do everything right” in order to make your service work properly.
