Can't believe Gen 4 doesn't have "Watch Next" option!

Am I missing something or did the development team somehow forget a “Watch Next” feature for a TV series, like the legacy Tablo’s have.

Here is the scenario, I’m recording every episode of a series that ran for 10 year and has over 200 episodes. The legacy Tablo’s kept track of which episode I last watched and I could simply select “Watch Next” to continue with the episode where I left off last time.

As near as I can tell, my Gen 4 doesn’t have that ability. Do you really expect me to scroll through 200 episodes to find where I left off last time ???

Again, unless I’m missing something, this seems like a very important option to have for nearly any user.

I’ve used legacy tablo DVR’s for over 10 years. Never used the feature, don’t need the feature, and there are other gen 4 features missing I want. Maybe media library software like Plex versus DVR software like tablo is your way forward.

That sounds like a good feature to me. I have advocated for a ‘binge watch’ feature, where it would automatically play the next available episode.

gen 4 users have been basically asking for manual recordings(a legacy feature) to compensate for guide issues. Do you think watch next is needed more then manual recording.
