Although I’m able to receive a very good signal for the Chicago sports network, I don’t get any programming information on the channel. And because of that, I’m unable to record any programming, including baseball games.
Could this be intentional? I don’t understand otherwise why it’s happening. I think when the stations first signed on as CSN you could get programming information about them.
Have you tried changing your zip code? I had a similar problem with quite a few stations, and I was able to fix it by changing my zip code in the app. I had to experiment with zip codes to get the one that worked with most (but not all) of my channels.
You can change zip code with your mobile app. On my iPhone I select "Settings, “Guide”, “Location”. There are similar selections on my Fire TV Stick, but the location cannot be changed in that app. It can only be changed using the mobile app.
Just a note that CHSN made a deal with Comcast. As part of that, it will be eliminated from OTA in many markets, including Chicago. You will need Comcast’s Ultimate cable tier, or pay for CHSN’s streaming service ($20 for 1 team, $30 for all 3).
