Can I watch another app on Firestick while recording with Tablo?

I just installed Tablo Quad to use with my Firestick. Am I able to watch another app on my Firestick while the Tablo is recording? I have a Samsung Smart Tv so wondering if I would have to switch to the Smart tv apps. Will Tablo still record if I do that?

The Tablo will record independent of what you’re doing on any client device (like the Firestick). It runs all the time even if you’re not using the Tablo client apps.

Thanks so much - so I can watch Amazon Prime on my Firestick and still record local tv at same time- correct?

Sure. The Firestick is not involved in the recording process at all. Only playback.
