I am looking to install a tablo setup in my boat. However, in my testing, (Using LG TV) if I lose the WAN connection, the TV or my phone (iphone) cannot find the tablo box. Being in the boat, I have internet most of the time, but I maybe without a connection for a few days at a time.
What hardware config would work for me? A Roku box? If so which one.

It used to be that when the Tablo complained about not having an internet connection you could just acknowledge the error and keep moving. I really liked that capability because we get severe weather around here and that often causes loss of Internet.
There’s recently been inclusion of some sort of authorization/validation routine that when Internet is not available, the client hard stops with a ‘failed authorization’ error.
