Blue light no longer goes on

Tablo 4th Generation 2-tuner issue:
Blue light no longer works. I have completed all recommendations.

Search under “led” or “blue light” and you will see quite a few others have had this problem.

I can’t recall anyone ever reading that the function of their tablo re scheduling and playing was affected by their blue light not coming on.

If you are in the warranty period, you might well get a replacement from tablo if you contact support. But your recordings and settings won’t transfer over to the new device.

I have two tablos with this problem and since function was unaffected, I took no corrective action and have done OK with no blue light.

Hopefully, someone will respond on this forum with an explanation/resolution(?)

I am having a similar issue. The unit appears to be working but the blue light never comes on anymore.

LEDs do go out. Of the thousands and thousands of Tablos sold, here are two examples. Not much you can do about it, other that replace the LED or replace the Tablo.

LED’s are much more efficient than other lighting sources. But they, too, have their limits.
