DRM prevents watching/recording/playback, unless you possess an authorized device and requisite decryption keys. Now, I listed playback, because to “decrypt” for purposes of “sharing” defeats the reason behind DRM to being with.

Actually, I think your point of transferring DRM’d recording from Tablo authorized device to another Tablo authorized device is interesting to those very people that could care less about today’s freedom under ATSC 1.0.
