APP not working with Dual HDMI hardwired to FireTV

I was under the impression that you did not need the TV guide service to use Tablo from the app. Am I missing something?
I have a FireTV and have the Tablo connected with the HDMI cable directly to the TV. I only have one TV connected and do not use the Tablo over the WiFi. I’m getting this error message now
“In-home streaming to secondary TVs via this app requires a TV Guide Data subscription. For more information, visit tablotv.com/hdmi-stream”
I have visited the Tablo site that it says and I found no answers.

This feature requires an active TV Guide Data Service subscription.

Thanks for the info. I guess I just assumed the app would still work without the subscription…but we all know what happens when you assume!

Required on the Tablo, but not on the Tablo.

Hi there @Richard3995,

Indeed, as zippy mentioned, you must have a subscription for streaming your Tablo HDMI content using other apps.

Just for clarity though, you can certainly still use the Tablo on the TV itself via the HDMI input it’s connected to without any subscription.
