App Connectivity issues

I seem to sporadically have issues connecting to my tablo 4 from mobile devices on the same network. Here is an example… I launch the tablo app without any issues on our Google TV or Roku TV and then my wife tries to watch from her iPhone and it can’t find it. I have then verified that it isn’t work via my Pixel 9. Both mobile phones experience the same. I then restart the tablo and it starts working on all devices. Anyone else experiencing this?

2 tuner or 4 tuner? Are you leaving both TVs connected (but turning them off) and then trying to connect a 3rd or 4th device?

Sorry I forgot to mention that it is a 4 tuner. I will say that I always close out of the app on the Google tv, but can’t say the same for my wife on her iPhone. With that said, I really don’t think we ever have more than 2-3 connected at a time. Great point though. I will have to keep this in mind.

If you haven’t already, it may be a good idea to check if your mobile devices are on the same network as your Tablo.

If they’re connected via data or to your guest network, that would explain why they can’t find the Tablo.

Even if all your tuners are busy, your mobile devices should be able to find the Tablo.

Try contacting Tablo Support. They should be able to help.

I have even seen it where my hardwired Google TV acts the same way which is crazy considering the tablo is hardwired to the same switch. No other connectivity issues other than this. i.e. I can use netflix, YouTube, etc
