I have a 4th Gen Tablo. I am using the app on a Roku. Every time I go to use it, the app cannot find the Tablo. I have to press the “Reset” button on the bottom in order the the app to find it. The firmware is up to date.
If you haven’t already, reboot your Roku and your router, in addition to the Tablo. That sometimes fixes weird communication issues.
Do you back out of the app until it asks you if you want to exit or do you just hit the home button?
If you just hit the home button, Roku has a problem with clearing the cache so the next time you go to use it,Tablo won’t load properly.
I also have this problem with several other apps.
Thank you. I will try that. Many times when I am done, I simple hit the “Home” button because I am done with the TV for the night. I will exit from the App.
Interestingly, I have seen that problem on some Android-based devices, like the ONN, but that has never been a problem on any of my Roku. Still, a good idea to try it out and see if it solves your problem.
