Unable to connect to the system on my Roku or my iOS devices I wonder are the servers down at Tablo?
I changed stations to go from the Broncos game to the Rams game and all I got was a black screen with a circle, couldn’t wait…had to switch to tv tuner…
15 minutes later everything is back to normal. I wonder why this happens. I have one gigabit Internet, so it’s not on my end. Makes for bad publicity Tablo. Do you have any comments?
Broncos game went into OT, tried Tablo again during commercial break, no problems, working like it should…must be a server issue…
Tablo uses many cloud based servers throughout the country. You probably had a server issue is your area. Zero issues where I live.
Besides Guide Data, Fast Channels, and “phoning home”… when you watch a live OTA channel, there isnt “internet” traffic passing. There is a direct client to client connection happening.
Sane
This is happening to us now. Was watching one channel, no issues. I tried to change to another channel: “There was a problem communicating with the Tablo servers. Please try again.” Have rebooted the device and the TV. The phone has the same problem but a different message: “Unknown error”.
My internet connection is fine.
Dec 30, 8:10 EST… I CAN connect to my device, and watch a recording… all other apps, etc in my house are working fine on my Internet… TABLO gives an “unknown error”, and if I try live TV… says it cannot retrieve the guide. Seems on the TABLO server end?
UPDATE: 8:28pm… after seeing TABLOs notice about a new “background update” (I assume they mean “back end” (servers), I went back and tried again… and VOILA… its magically working again. Maybe my issue was the result of them updating/restart back end systems?? They need a bit more robust system… and need a notification post or topic so we know when they are doing this.
Two nights in a row for me. Both nights started at about 7 pm CST. So nice to have reliable problems.
