Back when I was across the pond, I watched Rumpole Of The Bailey on the telly. Rumpole always referred to his wife as “She Who Must Be Obeyed”.
Preamps and wives. Who would have known the two go together in a conversation\thread. Both “amplify.”
Or should it be “preamps and significant others?” How about Rumpole referring to his significant other as “The Significant Other Who Must Be Obeyed.”
