I have the exact same trouble with mine the first one I had it worked great for 11 months then just quit they sent me a new one and nothing but the trouble like you talked about and they keep telling me the same BS I guess I am going to try a different brand like the SiliconDust because I am tired of trying to watch this thing they will not replace it I guess.
Can’t beat the tablo for ease of setup. But if/when I ever want an ATSC 3.0, I’d have to search for something else as the Tablo version seems like it’s not coming out anytime soon. I still don’t even have a 4K TV yet, so it’s not in my near term need anyway.
There is still nothing that replicates the functionality of the Tablo 4g. The closest thing was the Amazon Recast but that was discontinued 3 years ago and is no longer supported. All other options have key functional omissions. Most significant is the need to have each unit plugged into a TV - one receiver per television. The Tablo/Recast would distribute the signal to multiple TVs in the home over wifi - one receiver for multiple TVs.
