hi, under normal circumstances on the Legacy Tablo app on Android/Google TV the live guide has the channel names show white and flash when the channel is in use but right now all of the channel names are red. This has happened on more than one device and removing/reinstalling the app does not help, I’m trying to figure out what could possibly have caused this. Perhaps it’s something the app depends on?
The device is an Onn Google TV Pro 2026 model
I believe mine are red when they’re in use or recording - I don’t ever remember them flashing. But then again, I use FireTV and Roku devices with the OG Legacy device.
initially that was how mine showed, now they are all just red no matter what. I was hoping someone with this problem managed to figure out the cause. Maybe it’s a corrupted copy of android system webview but that wouldn’t explain why I have only run into this issue with Tablo on 3 android devices, 2 were not official android TV(so I figured since they weren’t official the problem was something to do with them) but used the same apps the 3rd is official android TV with the Google TV rebrand(I think this rebrand is just stupid)
You probably wouldn’t notice them flashing unless you back out of the channel to the guide. I suspect most just use the up/down change channels method on Roku which won’t show them flashing. I believe Fire TV does the same as Android TV which is you press up to change the channel while playing live(I have never actually done this)
I took a pic of what I was seeing in case that helps
Below is what I see, when I first set up the device all of those channels showed white text unless I was recording. Now as you can see, they are all red. It doesn’t even look right like that either.
I’ve seen that on other devices…
HDMI - check/replace the cable OR try another HDMI port.
