A way to see all show on a channel

I’m looking for a way to see all the tv show or movies playing on a channel. I have both the old and new Tablo the new Tablo at one time would show all show on a channel but I can’t seem to find it now. On the old Tablo it look like this

Hi @JohnBoy5562 ,

In the 4th Gen Tablo you should be able to go to Live TV. From there hitting FF on your remote should take you thorugh the timeline to show what’s coming up in the next 14 days.

While @TabloTV gave you a workaround, which also works with the Tablo Legacy app, I’ll give you the answer you’re looking for.

The Tablo Gen 4 app does not have that feature available for all streaming devices.
I’m sure they’ll add this feature, eventually…

I can confirm it is available for Google Chromecast with Google TV (4k), but not Google Pixel 4a smartphone.

In the Gen4 APP.. you could goto the tv show section, find the all networks button, and search per channel. It should list ALL shows playing on that channel. IDK if this option is in the Legacy new APP.

That what I was looking for. I know I’ve done that before but can’t seam to find it now on the Apple TV.

I found out what my problem was. I was trying to look for shows on a certain channel but you can’t do that with the new Tablo on your iPhone or iPad like you could with the old one. But you can with the Apple TV app with the new one. I was looking for something like this on my iPhone with the new app.

In fact, this feature would be handy on the Tablo 4th Gen app for iPhone/iPad, just as it is on the Tablo Legacy app.

I often—or at least it’s more my habit—search for movies I’d like to record on a regular basis using my iPad. The reason is quite simple: it’s more convenient to make a quick selection from my iPad than with an Apple TV remote, and I don’t have to be in front of the TV. So I’m much less inclined to do it from my Apple TV.

Also, I always filter by channel and rating, starting with the highest-rated and stopping at 3 stars. I take a quick look at what isn’t rated. But it doesn’t seem possible to filter by rating.

I think this is a feature that should be considered an improvement. I don’t get the impression that we’re the only ones on the planet.

Fortunately, we can still use the Tablo Legacy app on an iPad. I’ve had issues with both apps running simultaneously on Apple TV, but not on the iPad.
