You lucked out, Tablo support told me they would not give me the warranty (No Warranty for You) … And I only had the Tablo 2-3 months …

You have to pay $35 a year for the guide in order to dvr shows, but is well worth it for something that works. Sam

I now have a real workaround for the Storage issue with the 4th gen Tablo, The Application (Tablo Desktop Player). Works very well …
I can’t say enough good things about this application, its just great …
My workaround is as follows:
I use the Desktop Player to convert TV shows and copy to a local folder on my PC. I have set up a network drive as a media server on my local router. I copy the TV shows to the network drive and access the content (TV shows) from a Roku using the Roku Media Player. Works great !!! No more lost recording because of the Tablo …
